The Seguin Township Tourist Centre is your starting point for exploring one of the most beautiful townships in Ontario’s near north. Seguin was formed in 1998 from the former townships of Christie, Foley, and Humphrey and the village of Rosseau, and it stretches across nearly 600 square kilometres of lakes, forest, and Canadian Shield. That is a lot of country to explore, and the tourist centre is where you get your bearings.

Stop in for maps, brochures, and local guidance on the township’s many attractions. Staff can point you toward the highlights: the Humphrey Museum’s pioneer history, the scenic waterfront at Rosseau, the trails and beaches of Oastler Lake Provincial Park, the golf courses, and the countless lakes that make this area a boater’s and angler’s paradise. If you are looking for a place to stay, a place to eat, or a boat launch, this is the place to ask.

Visitor information for the township is handled through the municipal offices in Humphrey at 5 Humphrey Drive, and by phone at 705-732-4300. The township’s website at seguin.ca also carries visitor resources. The people behind the counter know the area intimately and can share the kind of local tips you will not find online, like which lake has the best sunset or where the fall colours peak first.

Seguin’s communities each have their own character, from the village charm of Rosseau to the quiet bays of Otter Lake and Horseshoe Lake. The tourist centre helps you find the corner of the township that is perfect for you.
