Directly across Golden Beach Road from Santa’s Village — and run by the same family — Santa’s Whispering Pines Campground is the sleepover half of the Santa empire, and the smart way to do the theme park with small children: play all day, then walk home to your campfire.
The campground offers tent sites and trailer/RV sites (some with hydro and water hookups) for campers, plus full-service cottages, yurts and rustic cabins for families who travel lighter. It’s set on the Muskoka River, with boating access toward the big lakes, and the amenities lean family: a heated swimming pool, an on-site general store, a playground, and a daily roster of crafts, movies and scavenger hunts. The signature of the week is Wednesday night’s Supper with Santa — dinner with the host himself.
The season runs roughly mid-May to mid-October, and the core offer is the camp-and-play package: bundle the campsite with Santa’s Village admission and the whole holiday — rides, river and reindeer — unfolds within a few hundred metres of your tent.
