Parry Sound Marine has been looking after cottagers and boaters for more than 65 years from its spot at 51 Great North Road, right in the heart of Parry Sound Harbour across from the Island Queen cruise ship and the Town Dock. It is a family-owned and operated, full-service marina and a natural home base for exploring the 30,000 Islands, the world’s largest freshwater archipelago and part of the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve.

The marina offers 175 docks accommodating boats up to 36 feet, with shore power and deep 12-foot draft. The fuel dock carries gasoline, diesel and propane, and pump-outs are available. On land there is indoor storage, a launching ramp, forklifts and hydraulic trailers, plus a well-stocked marine store for parts, accessories and supplies.

The service department is a point of pride, with two certified marine technicians and up-to-date diagnostic equipment, servicing all makes of boats and engines. As a Mercury Service Dealer, the shop carries a large inventory of Mercury parts and oil, and the sales department handles engines as well.

Location is a big part of the appeal. Tied up here, you are steps from downtown Parry Sound’s shops and restaurants, with the harbour, the trestle bridge and the open bay right outside. Transient boaters are welcome, making it a convenient stopover on a longer Georgian Bay cruise. The team is known for friendly, attentive service, and their invitation says it well: join their family of boaters and enjoy the finest cruising grounds in freshwater boating.
