The Parry Sound Town Dock is the working heart of the harbour and the gateway to downtown for anyone arriving by water. The 450-foot wharf offers transient dockage with water and electrical service, welcoming everyone from small runabouts to large cruising vessels, with pump-outs available nearby.

Step off the dock and you are in the middle of everything. Restaurants, shops, the Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts and the waterfront fitness trail are all within easy walking distance. For boaters cruising Georgian Bay’s 30,000 Islands, it is one of the most convenient places to tie up, provision and spend an evening ashore.

Even if you are not arriving by boat, the dock is worth a visit. This is where the Island Queen departs on its island cruises, where float planes come and go, and where you can watch the harbour’s constant coming and going against the backdrop of the CPR trestle bridge. Sunrise and sunset here are special, with the light playing across the water and the islands beyond.

The Town Dock is also the departure point for the Island Queen’s 30,000 Islands cruises, so cruise passengers will find themselves here too. It is a place that captures what Parry Sound is all about: a town built around its harbour, where the water is never more than a few steps away.
