Barnum House is an early 19th-century neoclassical home built around 1819 by United Empire Loyalist Eliakim Barnum and is considered one of the finest examples of its architectural style in Ontario. It was Ontario’s first historic house museum and is now a National Historic Site of Canada, preserving artifacts and design elements from the Georgian and Victorian eras.
