Whitefish-Island
Whitefish Island is a 22-acre ancestral fishing station and settlement in the St. Mary’s River that has been a vital cultural hub for Indigenous peoples for over 2,000 years. Today, it is part of the Batchewana First Nation and offers public trails through a rich natural landscape of rapids, wetlands, and historical interpretive sites.
