Public access to Halls Lake in the Algonquin Highlands is primarily provided through Elvin Johnson Park (also known as Stanhope Beach), which is the most amenity-rich public site on the lake. While there is also a smaller, more basic access point directly off Highway 35, Elvin Johnson Park serves as the main hub for public swimming, picnicking, and boating.
