This is a really fun, challenging trail, and you will want to plan to spend an entire day here. The trailhead has been moved farther down Devils Lake Road, which adds an extra distance each way.
The trail is varied and exciting with plenty of rock scrambles and creek crossings. Be wary of mud and lots of bugs in May, when spray or a bug hat are suggested. This is a great area to see lots of critters, animals, and plants throughout the. beautiful woodland with the most perfect scenery.
